Kazue was putting together Kaori's things to start her installation in Ryo's room. Luckily, it was large enough to accommodate a second bed, she didn't have any desire to have to move two full rooms.  

- Well, she recapitulated, I already managed to push Ryo's bed and apparatus. I still have to find how to bring Kaori and all her devices here at the same time ... This old pervert could at least give me a hand here !  

Quickly, she walked quickly to Kaori's new room, her arms full of the young woman's clothes.  

- Finally, even in this state, the two partners still found themselves as roommates ! she thought, laughing softly.  

Methodically, she folded and put the clothes of the woman away in the closet, and took the opportunity to look once again at the data displayed on Ryo's devices.  

Soon, she felt tears beading at the corner of her eyes. She was beginning to get really tired lately, and since the arrival of her friends at the clinic, it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to retain them. So she once gave way to her pain and let them flow.  

When she left the room, she didn't notice the dark mass which was approaching her and collided with it head-on.  

- Oh, sorry, I'm sorry, she mumbled, wiping her tears with her hand, then looking up at the stranger she had bumped, she recognized him.  

- Mr Ui ?

Kaori approached the bed and grabbing the right arm of her partner, she shook him :  

- Come on ! Ryo! We have to go to see if we have some work....  

But to her astonishment, she suddenly felt her partner's arm wrapped around her waist and then her feet which no longer touched the ground. Her partner made her pass over him before she found herself on the other side of the bed. Amazed, she turned to face Ryo…  

Taking his head out from under his pillow, he saw the look in Kaori's eyes. He wanted to make her upset by doing that, while having the opportunity to touch a little this body that he wanted so much. He had deceived himself. Scarcely had he seen those brown eyes that he had completely forgotten who they were ...  

The softness of her palm on his arm, her perfume with a touch of vanilla, the vision of that figure at the tips of his fingers, all of this had already awakened his senses, but when he sank his eyes into hers, he completely drowned in them. He leaned toward her and kissed her.  

Kaori did not reply immediately to the kiss. Ryo kissing her ? Yet, he wasn't still dreaming, she had noticed his jet black eyes wide open. It was really her that he was kissing, her, and none of the girls who populated his dreams... Tentatively, she began to respond to this kiss.  

His head was spinning. This kiss was threatening to consume the both of them. But when Kaori put her hands on his shoulders, Ryo suddenly realized what he was doing. Separating himself abruptly from Kaori, he grabbed his clothes and went to the bathroom.  

Kaori didn't understand what had just happened. She tried as best as she could to restore some order through the multitude of emotions that submerged her. Ryo had kissed her and then fled. She had to understand what had just happened. He was going to finally have to give some clear explanation about his feelings for her.  

She rose and smoothed her clothing with the flat of her hand, then walked with determination to the kitchen.  

Ryo was busying himself under a cold shower. Damn ! What had possessed him ? Now, he had to find a parade, a loophole, something that would put them both back into their usual routine.  

He was still thinking about it when he went into the kitchen. Kaori was warming one by one her the dishes. So he settled himself and mechanically began to eat everything within his reach.  

Thus, devouring everything he could without looking at his partner, he suddenly saw the two hands of the young woman lay on the other side of the table with a snap.  

- Ryo ? I think we need to talk ! Kaori said.  

- Hum ! What ? he said looking up from his plate.  

- Ryo, I ...  

- My poor Kao, he interrupted, grumbling like a teenager, you've gotten so infatuated with me that if I don't play the lovesick puppy from time to time, you let yourself be catch and after it's always me who have to fetch you. Remember with the General !  

Then taking a teasing look, he stood up triumphantly and said :  

- I have other things to do you know, there's plenty of Miss mokkori awaiting for me today !  

He ducked his head in his shoulders and closed his eyes, waiting for Kaori's eternal club to come crashing on him. But nothing came. When he opened his eyes again, he noticed that his partner was not in the room anymore. She had returned to her room. He quickly grabbed his jacket and did as usual in these cases ....

Mick parked his car just in front of the clinic's door. Too bad for the emergencies, he thought, mine is more important !  

On the alert, he explored the surroundings of the building but couldn't find anything abnormal. The park seemed very serene. Perhaps he had nothing to worry about and had come here too quickly. He exhorted himself to calm down, he couldn't make Kazue worry yet, but wouldn't leave her alone until this man would be found.  

Having come full circle and found nothing suspicious, he entered the clinic and went in search of the woman who made his heart speed up.  

- Kazue, where are you darling? He called ...
